Wayfinding Field Notes

A kinder witness for the passage you're living.

Sometimes the hardest part of a difficult season isn't the situation itself.

It's the story we begin telling ourselves about it.

A job loss becomes proof that we're no longer valuable.

A relationship ending becomes evidence that we've failed.

A milestone birthday becomes a reminder that our best years are behind us.

A season of uncertainty becomes a sign that we're doing life wrong.

When we're inside a challenging passage, it can be difficult to see clearly. The inner critic gets louder. We lose perspective. We become so immersed in the experience that we can no longer see the larger landscape surrounding it.

Wayfinding Field Notes offer a different perspective.

They are custom-written reflections designed to help you understand the deeper terrain of a question, challenge, or life transition you are navigating. Using the Wayfinding Deck as a companion, I explore the landscape surrounding your situation—the fears, strengths, tensions, possibilities, and underlying currents that may be shaping your experience.

The goal is not to predict the future or tell you what to do.

The goal is to help you step outside the swirl of self-judgment and see your situation through a wider, kinder lens.

How It Works

Every set of Wayfinding Field Notes begins with a question.

You share a challenge, transition, decision, or passage you'd like me to explore. You may write as much or as little as you wish. Some people share a few sentences. Others share several pages. Both work.

I then create a custom reading shaped specifically by your question and write a set of reflections based on what emerges.

Each set of Field Notes is unique, but may include:

  • Key themes and patterns that appear in the reading

  • Fears, tensions, and assumptions that may be influencing the situation

  • Strengths, resources, and inner allies available to you

  • Truths worth tending

  • Possible pathways forward

  • Reflective questions for deeper exploration

  • Practices, rituals, or small experiments to support your journey

Most Field Notes are approximately 20 or more pages and are designed to be returned to over time. They are not quick answers. They are companions for reflection and meaning-making.

What You Will Receive

Your Wayfinding Field Notes begin with a 6–9 card spread drawn from the Wayfinding Deck. I listen deeply on your behalf, guided by any open questions or current experiences you feel called to explore.

I spend dedicated time attuning to your questions and your field, drawing cards, reflecting, and weaving what arises into a narrative that mirrors where you are now and what is quietly calling you forward.

The result is a beautifully crafted, detailed PDF (typically 20–25 pages) that serves as a personalized record of this process—your own compass for the road ahead.

Your personalized compass includes:

  • An overarching narrative thread and the story of each card

  • Truth-tending and path-making insights for every card, illuminating where you are and offering gentle invitations toward what’s next

  • Embodied and contemplative practices to help root the insights in your daily life

  • A closing integration blessing to carry as an anchor and quiet companion

Please note: This is a personalized, one-on-one service. The written reflection you receive is a synthesis of the individualized attunement work performed specifically for you—it is not a template or automated reading.

Fields Notes sessions are $150.

Optional Integration Session

You may choose to add a 60-minute private Zoom integration session to further explore and feel into your Wayfinding Field Notes. These are typically scheduled for 2 weeks after you’ve begun working with your Field Notes, or you may also wish to schedule an Integration session as you continue to work with it.

The integration session is not therapy, coaching, or analysis.

It is a gentle space for shared reflection and witnessing — a chance to explore what feels most alive from your Field Notes and to be gently mirrored in your own unfolding.

During our 60 minutes together, you are invited to share what resonated most deeply, what surprised you, or what feels tender and new. I will hold space, listen carefully, and reflect back what I hear, without interpretation, fixing, or guiding you toward an outcome.

This is a space to slow down, to hear yourself more clearly, and to begin weaving the insights of your Reading into your own rhythms and daily life.

You are always the authority of your own experience. This space simply offers companionship and reflection as you listen more deeply to yourself.

Integration sessions are $50

How People Work With Their Field Notes

Wayfinding Field Notes are not meant to be consumed once and set aside — they are living companions. Many people describe reading them slowly, sometimes crying, sometimes pausing to breathe or walk away before returning.

Some keep their readings nearby as a trusted guide, revisiting them in moments of uncertainty or when they need to reconnect to their inner compass. Others use them as seeds for journaling, art-making, or personal rituals.

Rather than offering prescriptive answers, these readings invite you into an ongoing relationship with your own unfolding. They create space to feel what is true, to explore new layers over time, and to move with what is alive in you, at your own pace.

Some people even bring their readings into therapy or other healing spaces. Rather than replacing those relationships, these reflections can deepen them, offering symbolic language, emotional clarity, and tender entry points for conversations that may feel difficult to start.

Often, they help reframe what someone previously experienced as something to “fix” in themselves. This reframe can open powerful new possibilities for moving forward, with more compassion, more trust, and a greater sense of inner coherence.

You might find that different parts resonate at different times, or that certain lines become touchstones you carry forward. This is part of their medicine: to meet you again and again as you continue to become.
